Booking & dates

How do I know if you are free on my date?

Message or call us with the date and we will tell you straight away. Nothing is held until you have actually spoken to us and confirmed — a date on this website is never a booking.

How do I get a price?

Build a menu on the menu page — tick the dishes you actually want, section by section — then send it to us on WhatsApp with your date and guest count. That gives us everything we need to quote properly instead of guessing. You can also just message us and talk it through; the menu builder is there to save you time, not to replace a conversation.

Why are there no prices on this website?

Because a per-plate number printed on a page would be a made-up number. What your function costs depends on the dishes you pick, how many counters you want live, the guest count, the date, the venue, and whether you want the tent and decoration as well as the food. Send us the menu and those details and you get a real figure rather than a range you cannot rely on.

Food & dietary

Can we change the menu, or do we have to take all of it?

You build your own. The hundred and thirty-five dishes listed here are everything we cook, not a set meal — nobody takes all of it. Pick what you want from each section and that is your menu. If something you want is not on the list, ask; it is usually possible.

Can you handle Jain, satvik or no-onion-no-garlic food?

Tell us exactly what the restriction is and we will give you an honest answer about what we can cook separately for your function and how. We would rather say no to something than say yes and get it wrong on the day — this is not a thing to be vague about.

What do the Live and Seasonal tags mean?

Live means the dish is cooked in front of your guests at a counter rather than carried out of the kitchen — the pizza and pasta counters, chole bhature, the tawa roti and paratha counter, live jalebi with rabri and live gulab jamun. Seasonal means it genuinely depends on the time of year: sarson ka saag with makki ki roti, gajar halwa and ghewar. If your date falls outside the season we will tell you when you enquire, not on the day.

Do you do non-vegetarian food?

Yes. Our services banner says veg and non-veg and that is accurate. The menu published on this website is our printed Royal Vegetarian Wedding Menu, because that is the card we print. Ask us for the non-vegetarian list and we will send it across on WhatsApp.

On the day

Is there a minimum number of guests?

Ask us with your numbers. Small functions are worth doing and we do them — a sixty-person birthday is a real event — but below a certain size the per-plate way of pricing stops making sense for either of us and we will quote it per event instead.

What actually happens on the day?

Our team arrives ahead of time to set up the counters, the buffet and the service area — for a lawn function with tentage that usually means starting the day before. Uniformed staff serve through the function, and we clear up afterwards. What time we arrive depends on the venue and what we are building, and we will tell you the plan before the day rather than on it.

Do you travel outside Gurugram?

Yes — destination weddings are on our services list and we travel with our own kitchen setup, equipment and team, so a venue with no kitchen of its own is workable. Tell us where and when and we will tell you honestly whether it is practical and what the travel adds.
